May 2021 is the time for you to take a Shona challenge! It’s time for you to smash your Shona language learning goals by challenging yourself to learn to hear and speak the Shona language.
Shona is really cool! And it’s handy for talking to your Shona friends, making new Shona friends (they are really friendly people), or if you are planning a trip to Zimbabwe sometime.
This challenge makes it easy to start picking up some basics in a natural way. You don’t have to crack out a grammar book. Just start by learning how to hear what Shona sounds like, then practise at your own pace until it feels more natural. We are taking the challenge with you.
We put together a variety of sites that talk about the Shona language and Zimbabwe in general. There is some very interesting reading there. As well as some great articles to get you practising reading Shona out loud.
Let’s have fun!
