nguruve dzemusango – warthog/ bush pig

muzukuru wangu – (in this context) my niece. In it’s pure context muzukuru means grandchild. But in Shona family structure a maternal uncle is referred to as ‘Sekuru’ and he refers to his sister’s children as ‘muzukuru’.
