Mavambo Part One

mavambo part one

Mavambo means beginnings in Shona. Today we start to learn the words for things around us
It’s a good place to start to learn Shona language. At the beginning. Whether you are Zimbabwean or not this video is simple enough and slow paced enough that you can pick up the words easily.
Also great for being able to identify some common things you will see if you are learning Shona as a traveler.
What better way to begin discovering my world than to start with common things you will see around you?
The words are written in Shona so your grown ups can help you speak along with us, and you get loads of time to practice saying the words back.
Or, if you prefer, you can just listen to the words and enjoy seeing some of the wonderful things in the world around us.
This video shows:
Aeroplane
Bicycle
Book
Broom
Car
Chair
Cup
Hut
Leaf
Pencil
Scissors
Table
