Let’s learn about the seasons of the year in Shona. Or mwaka yegore.

There are 12 months in a year, and the months of the year in Shona also sometimes tell us what the weather will be like in Zimbabwe.
The seasons will be the ones from Zimbabwe so you know what weather they have there throughout the year.
Zimbabwe is in the Southern Hemisphere so their seasons will be different to the Northern Hemisphere where Gogo lives in the UK.
