Fetching water in Zimbabwe

kuchera mvura mu Zimbabwe

Where do you get water from every day?
If you are like most people you probably get it from the tap in your house.

But in this place in Zimbabwe Sarura Kids learnt that water comes from different places.
Do you remember Tinaishe and her grandmother?
They are in this video:

Tinaishe’s grandmother told us of two places she gets water from. Can you remember what they were?
In today’s video we meet people as they go to fetch water at the local tap. They have to walk and queue up for water from the tap. They do not have taps at their homes for running water.

What do they use to carry the water?
What is mugomo?
Pay attention to how they carry the water home.
Have you ever seen anyone carry water that way?
