Ngano – Chii chinonzi pfumvu?

pfumvu

Today’s story time ngano is called Chii chinonzi pfumvu?

Gogo Alice welcomes all you grandchildren to sit and listen to a story as she tells you the unfortunate story of tsuro nagudo – the rabbit and the baboon. Gogo loves storytelling and hopes it helps you learn Shona just like she did. Back when she was also a child in Zimbabwe her mother would also tell her the stories of Tsuro nagudo – Rabbit and Baboon.

Baboon was looking for help in discovering what pfumvu was. He had heard of it but he had no idea. Rabbit happened past while Grandfather Baboon was wondering about this pfumvu he had heard of. When he asked Rabbit the young Rabbit was only too happy to help.

Or so Baboon thought…

Listen to this story of Rabbit and Baboon and learn how Baboon’s curiosity nearly got the better of him.

We hope you enjoy these stories. Gogo Alice will be telling you lots more stories so find some of the other ones in the playlist called Ngano (Stories). You can also come back every week to hear another story with Gogo Alice. Learning Shona is so much more fun when you hear it as a story
